A new £320m rail line linking Oxford to London Marylebone has opened consisting of two new stations, Oxford Parkway and Bicester Village, both designed by CJCT. The new stations form part of the East West Rail Phase 1 project, the first new rail line between London and a major city since 1899.

Prime Minister David Cameron, said: “This new line and two new stations mark a historic moment for Oxfordshire. From today there will be more trains, faster journey times and better transport links for people living and working there.”

“CJCT are delighted to have been key partners to Chiltern Railways and Network Rail on this project, our transport design team are keen to grow, and this is a milestone in recent work following the great success of Wakefield Station on the Virgin Trains East Coast Mainline”. Antony Hall, CJCT
